A poem
Is like a
Guitar chord.
 
Every word
Has to be
Tightened to
Just the Right pitch
Not too much,
Not too little.
Otherwise your poem
Is out of tune.
 
And you have to
Have
Just the Right Number
Of notes
Or stanzas
Two is rarely enough
But sometimes six
Or even four
Is too many
 
And too many words,
Can sour
The experience,
The poem
As surely as
Adding a G
Ruins
a D chord.
