Every time I see her actions,
I see a life of giving.
Every time I hear her speak,
I hear honesty and wisdom.
Every time she opens a hymnal,
I rejoice with her in song.
Every time she lifts her face to heaven
And closes her eyes,
I am moved by her faith.
Every time she hugs me,
Every time she has me over for lunch,
Every time she kicks my butt at Scrabble,
I feel her love.
