Freckles

Two spots of brown upon her nose
More upon her cheeks
But freckles do not stop there
They spangle arms and feet
Signs of summer on fair skin
Dear freckles, thee I'd not spurn!
Yet however much sunscreen I use,
I don't freckle or tan-- only burn.
